Parsonage Farm

Timber framed, with lath & plaster, the house was built in about 1800. It was originally two cottages and the farm consisted of 15 acres plus a tithe barn.  In 1956, a further 30 acres was bought from Witchtree Farm in order to create a viable dairy farm of 30+ cows.  The land is now grass meadows used for hay.

Jack Drane, a retired dairy farmer and lifetime resident of the village, lived here. Jack previously worked at the Church Army training camp at Hempstead Hall.
